Join us on Friday June 14th for Pollinator Day!

We’re celebrating National Pollinator Week with some special activities! 12 years ago the U.S. Senate’s unanimous approval and designation of a week in June as “National Pollinator Week” marked a necessary step toward addressing the urgent issue of declining pollinator populations. Pollinator Week has now grown into an international celebration of the valuable ecosystem services provided by bees, birds, butterflies, bats and beetles!

Presented by AMITA Health, the Elgin Farmers Market takes place along South Grove Ave, between DuPage Court and Fulton Street from 3pm to 7pm. You can pick up fruits, vegetables, eggs, fresh fish and meat, honey and more (specific offerings based on availability and seasonality). Other items for purchase will also be available, including handmade crafts, pet products, as well as body care items.
