Join Us for the DNA’s Annual Holiday Mixer & Meeting

Every year the Downtown Neighborhood Association hosts the Holiday Mixer and Meeting. Be sure to secure your spot this year! The mixer will be held at the Martini Room, located on 161 E. Chicago Street on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 6-9pm.

There will be delicious hors d’oeuvres prepared by Eventastik and a cash bar. Raffle prizes will also be given away!

4th Annual “Feed Greater Elgin” Food Drive

Please Contribute to the 4th annual “Feed Greater Elgin” food drive to benefit Food for Greater Elgin. Drop off 10 or more non-perishable food items and receive a bag full of coupons from participating drop-off locations.

Home for the Holidays Annual Kick-off Event

HFTH 2013 logoJoin us for the 2013 “Elgin: Home for the Holidays Kick-off and Craft Fair” on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at the Gail Borden Library, 270 N. Grove Ave., downtown Elgin, Illinois.

The holiday season starts in downtown Elgin with entertainment, special drawings, a visit from Santa Claus and the Ecker Center Festival of Trees at this free, fun, family-friendly event. There will be live musical performances, photos with Santa, non-profit expo and much more that creates a truly magical event!   Children can even make a holiday ornament for the City of Elgin’s holiday tree. And you won’t want to miss out on the craft fair that will take place on the second floor of the library – Get your holiday shopping done – a one-stop shop!   The event is sponsored by the Elgin Young Professionals Network and Gail Borden Public Library and welcomes many Elgin non-for-profits (including the Downtown Neighborhood Association) to participate in this festive event!
